Today's Daily Case
A new murder mystery logic puzzle opens here every day, free and without sign-up. It is the same case as in the Capodoku app that day, with the same suspects, so you can compare notes with anyone who plays.
Today's case: the story
Today's crime scene: The Manor. Gina, the Daughter, has been found dead. 7 people were there: Sal (the Right-Hand Man), Rosa (the Widow), Aldo (the Godfather), Dante (the Rival), Nico (the Nephew), Frank (the Crooked Cop), and Paulie (the Driver). One of them was alone with her, and that is your killer.
The week has a rhythm. Monday brings a gentle 6 × 6 case, the middle of the week climbs to 8 × 8, and Sunday ends on a 10 × 10 case for the Legend rank.

Need help? Progressive hints
Try these in order, and stop as soon as you are moving again.
Hint 1: where to start
Look for a person whose clues name both a room and an edge, or a piece of furniture that appears only once on the plan. That person often has a single possible square. Place them first.
Hint 2: use every placement twice
Each time you place someone, rule out their whole row and column for everyone else. Then reread the clues that mention that person: "row is higher than", "same room as" and "diagonally" clues suddenly become precise.
Hint 3: watch the victim's room
The victim's room must end up with exactly one suspect in it. A room where two suspects are already confirmed cannot hold the victim, and a room no suspect can reach cannot either. Still stuck? The Hint button above places one person for you, up to three times per case.
